The Story

This Edition Invictus-IL features a handle machined from a single, solid block of titanium, a Böhler M390 blade and the legendary Mythosaur graphic. This mono-bloc style handle also known as an "Integral Bolster Lock" type folder requires specialized engineering and expertly managed CNC to achieve. Each bevel, curve, contour, angle, chamfer, area of jimping, component and part has been meticulously detailed. It is one of our most production intensive versions of the Invictus we have ever built and reflects an apex of our purpose driven, refined, functional tool aesthetic, design and production ethos at Prometheus Design Werx.
This is a precision made, EDC folder at it's finest. We used titanium billet in the handle, pivot collar, and the pocket clip. The hand ground Böhler M390 stainless steel alloy blade runs on ceramic bearings for a smooth action. Dual thumbstuds with dive watch grade glow-in-the-dark inlays deploys the blade quickly and decisively. Rounding out this Invictus-IL are our signature 5 fuller pattern which provides extra grip retention and our favored tool aesthetic in our EDC tools. No flashy, big logos or graphics or marks, just a subtle logo laser etched on the blade.
